Approved Pasteurizer Now Available from Advanced Gourmet Equipment & Design
On May 7, 2008, 3-A officially authorized Advanced Gourmet Equipment to apply the 3-A Symbol on the Mixtronic series pasteurizers for use within the United States. Under standard 24-02, the Mixtronic is now recognized as a 3-A APPROVED VAT BATCH PASTEURIZER that may be used in applications requiring pasteurization of various frozen dessert products such as gelato and ice cream.
The newly approved Mixtronic pasteurizer offers a much sought after solution for both retail and wholesale producers of frozen desserts in the United States. This approved version of the Mixtronic opens up a new dimension for the discerned user dedicated to the achievement of superior results and authentic recipe developmental goals. Technogel America and Advanced Gourmet Equipment & Design are proud to announce an expanded cooperative agreement. The arrangement will benefit the growing needs of the frozen dessert retailers and wholesalers throughout the U.S.
Advanced Gourmet is the exclusive importer of the Technogel MixGel series of hot and cold process combination batch freezers. The companies will work together to promote Technogel’s complete product line throughout the U.S. Advanced Gourmet will serve as a manufacturer’s representative to assign distribution and to support partners in designated geographic locations, expanding the promotion of the full line of Technogel equipment.

Advanced Gourmet Equipment and Design announces the formation of Advanced Refrigeration Services, a new division developed to support activities of the company on a local, regional and national level. Realizing the importance of superior after sales support for clients throughout the United States, the activities of Advanced Refrigeration Services will center on the organization and support of trained personnel throughout the United States in order to provide an excellent level of service and support for all the lines of equipment sold by Advanced Gourmet.
Advanced Refrigeration services is headed by Wally Becker, who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. Wally has served in managerial positions for both Stoelting and Carpigiani-USA where he oversaw operational activities related to research and development, engineering, after sales service and key account sales. In addition, he has organized and trained national service agents throughout North America to provide technical support within retail restaurants and frozen dessert establishments.
The goal of the Advanced Gourmet organization is to continuously strive for excellence and the addition of Wally Becker as head of Advanced Refrigeration Services is an important step for the company.

Pacoject Makes Key United States Distributor Appointment
Pacojet Inc. of Switzerland has announced the appointment of Advanced Gourmet Equipment & Design of Greensboro, NC as the national distributor for the
United States, effective April 1, 2006.
